Daewoong Pharmaceutical hosted its inaugural Nabota Master Class (NMC) LATAM 2026 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from Oct. 13 to 14. This marked the largest professional gathering of its type in Latin America, assembling approximately 200 medical professionals from six nations—Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, and Panama. The focus centered on advanced aesthetic methods using the company’s botulinum toxin, Nabota. Participants engaged in specialized training designed to meet regional treatment conditions and patient requirements.

Experts from South Korea, Brazil, Argentina, and the United Arab Emirates contributed clinical insights, highlighting Nabota’s distinction as the first Korean-produced botulinum toxin cleared for use in Argentina. Since entering the Panamanian market in 2015, the product has now reached 12 Latin American countries, with sales climbing at a 20% annual growth rate over the past three years, a pace well above the global industry average.

Beyond conventional applications, the event featured protocols for NabOlift and NabOglow, addressing lifting and skin quality improvement. Functional treatments, including hyperhidrosis and masseter procedures, were also demonstrated. Live sessions showcased Glowtox, a combined botulinum toxin and skin booster technique, while hands-on workshops allowed attendees to refine their skills through direct clinical application. Latin America stands as a dominant market for aesthetic injectables, with Brazil driving the highest demand.

According to Grand View Research, the regional market is projected to hit $520.3 million by 2025, expanding at an annual rate of 9.0% through 2033. Argentina, where Nabota gained early regulatory approval, is also experiencing robust growth, with forecasts indicating a 9.3% yearly increase. The event demonstrated Nabota’s increasing influence in a region where aesthetic medicine is advancing quickly. Yoon Joon-soo, head of Daewoong’s Nabota Business Division, observed that the class showcased the product’s adaptability while strengthening international cooperation among practitioners. The company will continue exchanges with medical professionals worldwide.
